The New Hampton @ Wallop

Ok….. but won’t be returning. Positive: The property was clean, and comfortable and had what we needed for just the one night. Negative: The location was not great at all. The images shown on the listing do not reflect the actual location at all. It’s a caravan on its own sat bang in the middle of industrial units and old army style buildings, skips and rubbish. Very random! The external photos are very deceiving. Had no heating or hot water despite the instructions of how to work boiler the fault light constantly showed and the electric fire in the lounge area did not work either. So it was pretty cold!

Positive: Mobile home was well equipped Negative: Location was on a old industrial park, with guard dog signs and broken windows.

A good nights sleep with an excellent local pub! Positive: Really clean, tidy and warm when we arrived. Property was as described. Off road parking which was ideal and the site was very peaceful. Had a really good nights sleep. The George Inn just down the road was superb and did amazing food. Would definitely stay here again.

Just a stop over Positive: Clean comfortable beds, clean towels.. It had all the basics needed for an overnight stay, only an hour to Heathrow Negative: Extremely basic, no provisions of tea coffee condiments etc. Furnishings a little tired.

Quiet location and has everything you need. Positive: Lovely quiet location, excellent value for money, friendly and helpful host. Negative: The water pressure in the shower could have been better but given its a caravan, it's probably to be expected. Hot water still lasted for 4 consecutive showers though!
